I am a recent graduate of Yonsei University with a strong interest in microbiome-brain-immune interactions and the influence of environmental factors on health. Growing up across Germany, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, and the Philippines has shaped my curiosity about how elements such as diet, sleep, infections, and hormones impact both cognition and overall well-being. Initially focused on human cognition and behavior in diverse environments, my academic interests have expanded to include neuroimmunology and the microbiome-brain-immune axis, particularly in relation to disease prevention and treatment.
My research focuses on the gut microbiome-brain-immune interactions, and their connections to environmental influences. I am especially interested in how these factors contribute to neuroimmunological and related diseases, with the goal of developing innovative, science-driven health solutions. By integrating insights from microbiology and neuroimmunology, I hope to advance both preventive and clinical approaches that improve overall health outcomes.
